This single pancake is the size of a large pizza. And they are spot on as well!
Also got the crispy hashbrowns which are fantastic. $10 for both makes this a steal.
Kibble meat, fries that look like mozzarella sticks and squiggles of symmetrical white sauce.
First time at this place and their heirloom masa pancake is awesome. Coffee is fantastic too.
I think this is a limited time special but can't wait to try the ricotta pancakes when they come back.

Ungodly crust. Spot on sauce. Loved the cheese they used and the fact that it was $5 makes it an awesome find. I'm a regular now.

Went McDouble's style with just ketchup, pickles and onions. Gotta try the barbecue sauce, Swiss and grilled onions combination next time.
It's definitely worth the line. Might be the best tacos I ever had outside of Mexico.
Coming from LA, the land of legendary street tacos, these were right up there and might even take the crown. Love how they dress each taco with a healthy dose of onions and cilantro as the chef confidently and unapologetically knows what he's doing.
Haven't tasted anything this good since visiting CDMX.

It's the crowd favorite that we didn't expect. A lot of solid options with the playful balance of East meets West.
While the chicken karaage was the most recommended, the ribs were surprisingly delightful. The smoky hallmarks of great Texas BBQ were still present but with an Asian zing in the sauce. Fantastic.
Some things like their rice bowls looked prettier than they tasted but still delicious nonetheless. The sesame rice noodles were on the authentic side (which we loved), packed with black vinegar and chili oil.
Great vibe on a weekend night at the South Lamar location. Saw they have other locations and looking forward to visiting them.

They were the only food truck open in this small park on McNiel. The guy in front of me turned around excited asking if I ever had this before. I haven't and he mentioned everyone in his office told him he had to stop by.
I didn't order the whole gambit since it was just me but man were those ribs were something else. Smoked and caramelized to perfection, these ribs were fall off the bone tender. While some people don't prefer that (myself included), for what it was... it's a home run.
These really are the bee's knees. My new favorite cookie.
There are "better" cookies out there in the craft of cookie baking. But what makes these stand out is that they so perfectly encapsulate the spirit of keeping Austin weird.
The heirloom blue corn permeates with every bite, the hatch pepper has the subtle flair reminiscent of jalapeños in cornbread and the sweetness ties it all back to remind one that this is still a cookie.
It's sad to learn that today is the last day the cookies will be available at Central Market with their Hatch promotion ending. Grateful to even have the chance to try something so uniquely delicious. Till next year.

Since moving from San Diego, I've been craving some good seafood. Been hearing Quality Seafood is the GOAT and I usually do an order of the clam strips to test the waters.
Brother let me tell you these are as good as frozen from the supermarket. I mean freezer burned for months...
