Mini Server Rack V1 Complete!
I have wanted to organize up my home network equipment for a while now but didn't want to invest in actual full mount server gear or a piece of furniture to hid it in. Then I found Jeff Geerling's video on "Project Mini Rack". I didn't even know there was such a thing as a 10" racks, AND you can buy racks right now. Unfortunately, the funds for new projects are low atm so I brushed it off till a later date. That was until I found out that I could just print my rack. Which leads me to today, about a month of printing, designing, and assembling my mini rack is done (for now).
Items in Rack: Tp link router Netgear unmanaged switch Phillip hue hub Mini itx biostar PC Spectrum modem
Future plans are to add some SFF PCs to replace the mini ITX that is getting rather old at this point. Other plans include some Raspberry Pis and/or other SBCs. Thanks to the creator, I should be able to stack other racks together. Allowing me to upgrade this rack into the future.
I wanted to shout out Jeff's video for the inspiration to create a mini rack and to the designer (Natalie T) of the rack I printed. Y'all are awesome!
Edit: added items in the rack.
