I recently got the Revopoint Dual-Axis Turntable, and I quickly ran into one small annoyance.
When the platform tilts, the magnetic markers tend to slide off under their own weight. I kept wondering why the top plate wasn’t magnetic.
Instead of using adhesive or double-sided tape, I printed a replacement top plate using Proto-Pasta Composite Iron PLA. Since it’s infused with real iron particles, the marker magnets stick to the surface while still being easy to reposition.
Now the markers stay in place even at steep tilt angles, and I can still rearrange them whenever I need to.
It turned out to be a surprisingly simple solution to a very practical problem.
