I've seen a handful of geolocations of Russians in South-Western Dobropillya lately and it looks like Suriyak thinks they were able to consolidate in that part of the town on his live map. If Ukraine doesn't throw another counterattack here, Dobropillya may effectively fall relatively soon as Russia would now have two solid entry ways into the town.

In Dobropillya, Russian army continues to infiltrate and build up troops in the outermost streets of the town, so we may see an increase in their control of the eastern part in the coming days. However, it is premature to suggest that the battle will unfold rapidly until Russian forces have secured control of a significant section of the T-05-14 road, from which they can launch an attack on neighbouring Bilozerske. It is then that we might witness a breakthrough in Dobropillya, possibly from the second half of September onwards if the pace of advances on this front is maintained.

During the last week, Russian army took control of Novomykolaivka and Petrivka, reaching the outskirts of Raiske. In addition, Russian forces regained control of Vilne and advanced further north of Stepy (operations to capture this village began in mid-June, but initial consolidations were not achieved until late July), shifting the fighting to the outskirts of Rubizhne and bringing it ever closer to Zolotyi Kolodyaz. Regarding Dobropillya town, Russian troops managed to take control of the Dobropilska Mine terrikon (where fighting continues inside the mine) and expand their operations into the Praskoviivka district. The Russians also intensified fighting in the Zaliznychnyi district to the south (advance units began entering the area in early August).

During the last two weeks, Russian army has managed to consolidate a series of positions in the western part of Kupiansk, including the city centre, and has advanced beyond the railway line and Lermontova Street. Meanwhile, fighting continues to the south in Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi between Russian & Ukrainian armies.

Ukrainian army has completely withdrawn from Ukrayinsky Khutir (southwest of Kostiantynivka city)—specifically units from the 100th and 156th Mechanized Infantry Brigades—through the metallurgical plants during the last days. Approximately 55% of the city of Kostiantynivka is under Russian control (solid control; no gray zones or buffer zones) now.

Following Ukrainian army’s retreat southward over the past eight days, Russian army advanced in the eastern sector of Kupiansk, taking control of most of it, along with the neighboring town of Kucherivka. Fighting has now shifted to the Kupyansk-Sortirovochny locomotive depot and Chervona Street, near the southeastern edge of Kupiansk and the beginning of Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi. In addition, further south, Russian forces continue their assault on Kivsharivka, entering from the east.

Situation on Ilyinovskaya & Konstantinovskaya fronts: During the last three weeks of May, fighting in Dovha Balka has continued, with Russian army making small gains in the eastern part of the locality.

Meanwhile, in Kostiantynivka city during the last week of May, Russian forces reached a turning point, managing to infiltrate approximately half of the city’s districts, which has created a significant gray zone where Russians and Ukrainians are fighting across this extensive urban area. The main fighting is concentrated in the historic center, the central market, Workshop No. 4 of the Red October plant, and the “Zarya” industrial complex in the eastern part of the city. In the western part, fighting is taking place in the districts of Mykolaivskyi, Chervone Mistéchko, Suputnyk, Zinkovy, and Decoratyvnyi, as well as at the “Metalex,” “Stroysteklo,” and “Avtosklo,” which has increased pressure on the “encircled” Ukrainian troops in the Ukrayinsky Khutir district.

Assault on Konstatinovka. Assault units of the Russian Armed Forces are advancing along both banks of the Krivoy Torets River for approximately 1 kilometer and are taking up new positions in residential areas of the Stary Piter and Nikolaevsky neighborhoods. The forward positions came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Suriyak: "Ukrainian drone operators in Kostiantynivka have either been eliminated or have withdrawn from the city. The Ukrainian collapse in the southern part of Kostiantynivka is expected to accelerate in June."

Russia seems to be having more and more success in Kostiantynivka. If Ukraine doesn't counterattack here soon, the city could well be lost in the next few months. I believe AMK said he thought the next counterattack would be here, but when that will be is the true question.

During the last week, Russian Army launched new infiltration operations in Mykolaivka from the north of the town of Chasov Yar. In addition, Russian forces increased pressure on the city of Kostiantynivka. From the east, the Russians took control of the “Khimik” dachas and the adjacent cemetery, while intensifying infiltration operations further north in Novodmytrivka and entering Molocharka. From the west, during the last five days, Russian soldiers have taken full control of the Chervóne mistéchko districts, the microdistricts, a large part of the central district (not to be confused with the old town), and new parts of the Pivdenny and Prohresyvny neighborhoods.
