Youtubers have to censor and cut up their content to keep advertisers like this happy???

It sits in a west facing window where it gets sun all day, and extreme sun (behind window glass) for a few hours in the afternoon when the sun sets. I have a fungus gnat infested pothos nearby but they never really seem to hang around the bromeliad bc I only water the cup, not the soil. I water with distilled water but at first I was watering with tap water. I did a rinse of the soil with distilled water about a month ago. It seems like it's growing okay but even on its newest leaves, it still gets these light spots.
