Replace AC Condenser unit or just repair?

Last night AC condenser unit decided to take part in the 4th of July celebration with a lot of clanging.

Went outside this AM and the one fan blade is torn to sh-t and there are metal shards all inside the unit.

Can't get anyone out till Monday to have it looked out.

Just wanted to get thoughts on if we are looking at replacing the condenser unit or just having them replace the blade/motor and calling it a day. Unit is at least15 years old.

Window Quote which option would you choose

Brother has 3 window quotes to replace 3 large picture windows in living room 30 x 77. Which would you choose?

Scope of work: New construction windows with interior and exterior trim to be removed and replaced with new. Part of the sub floor needs to be replaced due to rot. Potential when windows are removed there is more damage that will need to be replaced.

Option 1 - $8,500 Marvin Essentials. Contractor in quote did put wording that picture windows would be replacements not new construction.

Option 2 - $10,000 Marvin Ultimate direct set. Contractor in quote did not put in any wording about addressing the rot issues or any details other than the type of window.

Option 3 - $12,836 Marvin Ultimate casement sash or $11,386 Marvin Ultimate direct set. Contractor did complete inspection after seeing rot on windows. Pulled back carpet to check sub floor and it is toast in front of the windows. Brother did ask if he did the interior trim how much would that save and it would only take $300 off the price.

Option 4 from contractor who did option 3 quote: Vinyl windows for $7,200

I called to price out the Marvin Ultimate windows and it is $6,763.50 for three direct set windows. I imagine it would be about another $1000 for the ones that allow the sash replacement based on contractor coming down about that much when asked how much that would reduce the cost. I imagine a contractor would get better pricing than I would.

The question is: is the labor costs for this out of line based on the cost of the windows? Brother is leaning toward the more expensive quote since that quote addressed the rot issues, etc and the contractor would be onsite doing the work.
