Caretaker Council Appointed

While negotiations continue over which party (or parties) will run Birmingham, Bearwood Council, have, in the meantime, been asked to step in on a caretaker basis.

This week we will:

  1. collect the recycling, compact it, and use it to fill the potholes on the Bristol Road

  2. recommission The Anchor nuclear bunker

  3. build a wall around the Reform-voting areas in the south west of the City, with a UN buffer zone along Woodgate Valley

  4. expand the hyperspeed piped gravy network, and legalise Orange Chips

  5. recommission the Old Joe Rocket

Any questions?

With the local elections coming up next week, we would like to remind residents that there have been a few changes to ward names and boundaries, in Bearwood and surrounding areas.

Due to recent military gains by Bearwood Council, the Bearwood Ward name officially exists again for the first time since 1979 and it has gained territory from neighboring wards.

The Harborne ward has now been finally renamed to South Bearwood, after Harbornites chose this name in a popular vote, with this choice beating the only other allowed option of 'Lower Bearwood' - by 76% to 24%.

In other changes, Ladywood ward, has been renamed to 'Town' to reflect what everyone calls it anyway.
