If you attended public school in the 90s, early 2000s, you were definitely exposed to this art style in the classroom. I'm wondering if Carson and Dellosa perhaps served as some sort of subconscious inspiration for designers who embraced Alegria?

Growing up, I absolutely hated this art style - it was like a sanitized Garfield strip or a secular humanist interpretation of Precious Moments.
