Are there any locally-owned shops that sell cute newborn clothing? I tried to search the sub but it was mostly about second-hand clothes and other baby gear.

I have gone through a bunch of threads and got the following takeaways:

• Avoid First Alert
• Avoid X-Sense

There are a few decent hardwired options, but what is the solution for battery-operated?! I have only seen Kidde as a viable option but read that if your internet goes down, it makes an announcement about it, which is fine during the day, but if it happens in the middle of the night, that is very annoying. Loved the pathlight but seems like no battery-operated options are available.

Do I just go back to dumb detectors?
