First time Korea visit for conference

Hi everyone, I am going to a conference in Seoul from July 7-9th and wanted to also take some time to travel. What do you think of these options?

OPTION A
Fly redeye SFO → Seoul, land June 27 ~4am, then connect to Jeju 4a)
June 27–30: Jeju
June 30–July 3: Busan, including a Gyeongju day trip
July 3–10: Seoul, conference with possible day trips to the DMZ, Suwon, and Jeonju
July 7–9: Conference
July 10: Fly home

OPTION B

Fly SFO → Seoul, land on July 3 ~4a
July 3–10: Seoul, conference with possible day trips to the DMZ, Suwon, and Jeonju
July 10–13: Busan, including a Gyeongju day trip
July 13–16: Jeju Island
July 16/17: Return to Seoul and fly home

I’m especially trying to decide whether Jeju/Busan are better before or after the conference. What do you think?

Korea in late June or mid July?

Hi everyone, I am going to ICML in Seoul from July 6th - July 10th. I wanted to take ~1.5 weeks to go to Busan and Jeju Island as well. Is it better to go before my conference or after? I'm mostly concerned about the weather :/

Thank you!
