Early Playoff Pucture

So, if we beat Hamilton today, then we only need to get ahead of Winnipeg or Calgary to get into the crossover seed. Or pass both Winnipeg and Calgary for the last western seed. That really doesn’t sound too impossible. Let’s go, lions!

Post Game 7-25: Argos 26 Lions 12

This was a rough one. Offense play calling was predicable and gutless. Punting on 3rd down when they’re losing and there’s only 1:30 on the clock?!?! Gutless. Offensive line was porous. The lions fired the right tackle just before the game and the replacement, Donovan is now injured. Offensive execution was sloppy. Defense had poor deep coverage and poor tackling. This is really just a bad team that was carried by Rourke…

Season Over?

The bad luck just doesn’t end for the lions. Another blown opportunity and now Rourke is injured. I can’t see the lions climbing out of this hole. It looks like another prime Rourke season has been squandered before we even open BC Place. :(

Apple Bowl 2 Preview - BC v Esks - Saturday, July 4

How is everyone feeling about the next game? My thoughts:

(1) Kelowna is a GREAT venue. I would support having a permanent Apple Bowl every year. I think it’s fun seeing grassroots community football and it helps grow the lions brand by spreading the team around the province.

(2) I predict BC will demolish the Esks. After 3 weeks of bad football and bad breaks, i think the Lions are primed to explode and rip the next team apart. I predict BC 52 Esk 17.

BC v Calgary - June 27

Horrible start. Nothing going on offensively and we’re taking penalties every other play.

Cmon, let’s go BC!
