Who here is post-op and taking progesterone? My family doctor prescribed it to me after surgery (in addition to the estrogen patch) because he said it has benefits “other than preventing uterine changes” but he didn’t specify what those benefits are. Today I saw my gyno for my post-op appointment and he said I don’t need to take it if I don’t have a uterus.

I’ve been taking it about 5 weeks and I don’t really notice a difference other than it making me sleepy and my knees always hurt after I take it, but maybe it’s doing something I’m not aware of? Just wanted to get some opinions because I trust you all more than either of my doctors lol
