Still building my humble manga collection up! I was a collector of general merch a long time before I started properly reading manga (as you can probably tell) so my shelves have become a blend of all of that.

Over time I’ve had to switch my displays up a lot, and they’re certainly not done. There’s lots of ideas I have but I tend to get a bit overwhelmed with reorganising things. I do want to get proper book stands/frames for certain bits and risers to help maximise on space for sure. The vision is generally quite maximalist right now, which I’m not sure I love tbh… but I just love stuff lol. I’m interested to hear if others have this same problem! Also, no points for guessing my favourite series 😅

I married my long-time partner (we got together when we were 18 🥺) back in June of this year. I have been ARMY since 2017, so he knows how much the tannies mean to me, and barely blinked when I told him I wanted to walk down the aisle to one of their songs. I spent weeks going through their discography (though I know it like the back of my hand, I had to relisten and imagine hearing it in this context while I’m trying to walk semi-gracefully 🤪) before finally settling on this instrumental version of Euphoria.

It was actually one of the hardest decisions to make about our day, but I’m so happy with my choice! Initially I really wanted to find an OT7 track to walk to, but this one just spoke to me for so many reasons, and the piano riff is so beautiful (just like JK’s voice on the original version). I know there’s a lot of sad memories connected to this song from BU and the music video, but I have never fully delved into that lore, so have been able to keep the meaning of the song pretty untainted (for me at least) which I felt was important. My interpretation of the lyrics (both English and Korean) were very poignant and related to my own feelings about finding love in my favourite person. It’s always been one of my favourite songs from the LY era, which is where I started as an ARMY, so it was really special for that reason too. Hearing it in a room filled with people I love made me feel so complete - like even though it’s a JK solo, it made me feel like all of them were there with me too, in a way.

I have felt so supported by BTS through the years - their music has pulled me through some tough times, and the way they relate to their fans has made me feel so seen - and it meant so much to have them by my side on such an important day in my life 💜

I think the surprise songs they’ve been playing is one of the most exciting parts of the show. When they announced the tour I was dreaming of all kinds of songs I’d want to see them perform (I know we all were) but also thinking “there’s no chance we will get to see some of the older songs”. So when they began doing surprise tracks in their encore segment - of which the songs can be from any era - I was delighted!

I am lucky enough to be going to London D1&2 next week 🥺 so I have been racking my brain for what they might play. I’m really happy they have been playing repeats as some of my favourites have already been done at other shows, but I’ve just been looking at the list (shout out to that one ARMY who’s keeping the google sheet updated, borahae) and am wondering why only one song from Dark & Wild has been played?! I know there is speculation around some songs being blacklisted because of a certain producer with criminal allegations, but to my knowledge D&W doesn’t have any controversy around it.

I’m just wondering if we think the selection is truly randomised (within reason, i.e. Airplane was obviously handpicked for Mexico & Spain) or if they’ve written D&W off for some reason? I know BTS themselves were going through a particularly tough time internally during the making of and promotion of that album, but I hope it’s not because they have bad feelings attached to it. It’s one of my all time favourites of theirs (genuinely no skips) and I would love to see them do Look Here or 2nd Grade!!!!!
