I feel like I have been dismissed by the ER doctor. Is Vasovagal really an answer?
I fainted on Saturday night. I was at a comedy show and my dinner was sitting funny in my stomach. I excused myself from the show to go and vomit. I came back into the show, feeling relieved, and then about 5-10 minutes later I felt so weird I knew something was wrong. I left the show again and managed to make it to the exit door before I just dropped. Apparently I was out for less than a minute. Lips turned blue. Arms and head felt weird after coming to.
I got taken away in an ambulance and seen at the emergency room. I got given some paracetamol and was told it was vasovagal and sent on my way.
What?
I feel confused and dismissed. Surely there is a root cause?
I still feel very strange (Monday).
Am going to the GP today to get some blood tests.
Has anyone here gone down the path of trying to find the root cause or is it hopeless?
