Technically not Boise…but in Kuna so close enough. While I was filling out my ballot, one of the poll workers loudly said to another worker (while they were both working the registration desk) “SO SINCE THIS ISN’T A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, COULD I HAVE WORN MY TRUMP SHIRT?!”. The worker she was asking chuckled and said no, and explained the rules behind it.
IMO basically the same thing as wearing it if you’re going to loudly boast about wanting to wear it just to stir up drama. I love it so much here 🥴.
