Can one Omada Fusion 2.5G manage three sites with existing ER605 gateways?

Hi everyone,

I'm considering purchasing an Omada Fusion 2.5G Gateway to replace my OC200 controller, but I need to clarify its multi-site management capabilities before making the purchase.

My current setup consists of three separate Omada sites:

- Site 1: Already have ER605 gateway with switches and EAP. Here I want to Install the Fusion 2.5G.

- Site 2: Remote site with an existing ER605, Omada switches and EAP access points.

- Site 3: Another remote site with an existing ER605, Omada switches and EAP access points.

All three sites are currently managed through an OC200, and the sites are interconnected through VPN/SD-WAN.

My questions are:

  1. Can the Fusion 2.5G's built-in controller manage all three sites centrally, with each site having its own configuration?
  2. Can the two remote ER605 gateways be adopted by the Fusion controller over the WAN/VPN, without installing additional Fusion gateways at those sites?
  3. Can all switches and EAP access points at the remote sites also be managed centrally through the Fusion's built-in controller and Omada Cloud Site Manager?
  4. Is this supported by the current firmware, or is Fusion's multi-site functionality limited to managing multiple Fusion gateways through Omada Cloud?
  5. If this setup is supported, would I need to configure the remote devices' Controller Inform URL to point to the Fusion's IP address at Site 1?

As far as I know, migrating or importing my existing OC200 configuration into Fusion is not possible now, so I'm prepared to configure everything from scratch. I just want to confirm whether this architecture is supported.

Thanks in advance for any real-world experience or clarification from TP-Link!
