The idea of riding a bike here
Hello all. I have been contemplating getting a bike license for a few years now. I can see the overall rider community has grown bigger, more people are interested and certain colleagues of mine also have gotten bikes recently. What holds me back is an accident of a colleague of mine in 2014 who was hit and killed at a traffic stop. That made me realize it’s probably way more dangerous out here (the size of cars, speeds at which they are driven, overall attention towards bikers etc). It’s like a trauma stuck in my head since then.
What has your experience been like? I just wanted some perspective from others on this, on being on the road. Happy to hear from some of you
