Goodfellas is the obvious answer, but I'm going to go with Taxi Driver. I love licensed music when done well, but an original score done well just hits so much harder for me. It's a mix of beautiful and haunting jazz that highlights Bickle's innocent demeanor and horrifying psychology.
I think, while one note, Killers of the Flower Moon has a great score. As does The Departed.

Off the top of my head...
Sidney Lumet's Before the Devil Knows You're Dead is one of his top works of his career. Mike Nichols's Charlie Wilson's War is a fun political drama. Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut is one of the greatest films of all time, in my opinion. Spike Jonze, having not directed a film since 2013, released Her, one of my favorites ever.
What else comes to mind?
My answer is The Brutalist. When I watched, I was simply in awe of the filmmaking. I think it is such an achievement and I was surprised to see it didn't win BP or Director at the Oscars. I know The Big Pic wasn't incredibly high on it due to certain plot shockers, but honestly on rewatch the film is incredible and really takes me back to the 70s era of filmmaking.
My other answer is Killers of the Flower Moon. Heavily underrated due to runtime, source material, and comparison to other Scorsese greats. It's arguably Marty's best film imo and simply a masterpiece.

Watching this WC 3rd place match between France and England and the lack of effort by France is apparent. What’s the worst effort by an NBA team you can remember?
Knicks-Mavs in MSG this season was horrendous from the Knicks in the effort department. Down 30 at halftime which eventually propelled their mid-season resurgence.
In the playoffs, I have to nominate Cleveland’s performance in the recent ECF. Honestly an embarrassing display of playoff basketball by them. What do yall think?

Stephen A. Smith, notable sports personality, voted Jalen Duren 1st Team All-Defense for what seems to be the worst selection of the entire process. Not only is Jalen Duren not a top 10 defensive player, he is actively a negative defender on the court. This isn't colored by his playoff performance as his deserved AllNBA selection comes from his offensive production, not his defense.
SAS also voted for Jaylen Brown 1st Team All-Defense, but this was more common yet also egregious.
