BiPAP not working well

I have spinal muscular atrophy type 2, so I have sleep apnea and generally breathe very softly. I've had a BiPAP for years now, but for the past few months it has felt increasingly worse and less useful. I've tried to fix this with my pneumologist but none of the changes we've made have worked. I've also been tweaking the settings by myself a little, and it has made things slightly better but still not useful. Last night I slept 1 hour. It feels like air enters my body but doesn't fill my lungs like it should, like it's too much air and not enough at the same time. I use a nasal mask (the one that goes in your noses's holes), and the BiPAP's model is Vivo 3. What do I do?
