Seven basenjis gathered on a summer-preview spring morning in Washington Square Park, New York City. All visitors today were veterans: Bitzie (female, yearling;) Bronte (female, two-years-old;) Sailor Jerry (male, two-years-old;) Oscar (male, three-years-old;) Leah (female, six-years-old;) Scout (female, nine-years-old;) and Kepler (male, eleven-years-old.) (Guest appearance by frenchie puppy girl: Angel.) Starting temperature: 74°F|23°C

Young Basenjis Inspire Battling Action (NYC Meetup) - YouTube

Three young basenjis inspired a series of tussles and wrassles among the basenjis and other dogs at the park. Puppy Ichi Toko introduced himself to a number of dogs and stood up again to senior dog Kepler. Bitzie the yearling ran from many, including Sailor Jerry, an energetic honorary basenji. Sailor then held a rematch with Mia for another balletic dance/battle. All the dogs enjoyed a few scratches from the humans.

In order of appearance:
• Ichi Toko (4 month old male)
• Bitzie (yearling female)
• Sailor Jerry (2 y/o male)
• Kepler (11 y/o male)
• Mia (9 y/o female)
