I love when former Bucks icons come back.

He should wear those shorts on the bench.

So first and foremost it'll be sad when Giannis leaves. He's the franchise GOAT and will always be integral to the history of the franchise.

That said, the last couple seasons have been extremely miserable. The spectre of Giannis leaving looming over every loss weighed heavy making the last couple years kind of miserable to watch.

It feels like without such heavy pressure for this team to be good, it'll be a lot more fun to watch guys like Rollins and our picks this year develop. Maybe Jokic 2.0 will come over from Serbia and play. Even if the team is bad (though I have a lot of faith in Jenkins making lemonade out of lemons), it'll be more fun to watch than the Glenn Rivers era of Bucks basketball.

At least that's my perspective even before the trade happens.

So in the last few months, Gery has become a darling of aggregators looking for Giannis clickbait and he has eagerly obliged. For those new here, he is a complete hack. Nothing he says is reliable at all and he has no sources. Maybe some of the things he says are true but that would be simply because a broken clock is also right and not because he does any vigorous reporting.

Jim O and Eric Nehm are the only two Bucks reporters I fully trust.
