I just thought it was funny. I've had no interaction so far, and only met his faction this turn, and he declared war on me. He feels likes Ghandi just declaring war on me every game even with minimal interaction.
This has been one of the most fun experiences I've had in M&B.
Bretonnia and its Dukedoms have been at war for years. Fighting off the Greenskin hordes, and Mousillon. Lyonesse, Gisoreux, and Bastonne were all defeated. Lyonesse fell within the first year of the game due to a lightning campaign from Mousillon. Artois, Gisoreux, and Courroune were being battered and broken. While Soreil and Lyonesse were retaken, Martel was captured by the Artois. This was the last bit of good news.
First Gisoreux fell, and then Bastonne. The Gisoreux fled to Courounne, while Duke Bohemond Beastslayer and his kin fled to Artois and continued their fight. Martel was recaptured by Mousillon, and all hope for heart of Bretonnia seemed lost.
Up until recently I was doing odd quests, and fighting beastmen, bandits, and Druchii slavers to get renown and earn money. Knights aren't cheap man. I had only realized how bad things truly were after I finally got to rank 3. I gathered more men, signed on as a mercenary under Duke Chilfroy Artois. The battle against Mousillon was grand, and this is where we turn the tide.
