How is Lindell leading Republican governor polling?

Lindell is now up in Republican primary polls after Trump's endorsement. He has zero chance against Klobuchar just like White had in the senate race against her.

Yet, Republicans march like lemmings to whatever Trump says.

Even more confusing, White is way behind Tafoya in polls even though he's as much of a nutter as Lindell.

Help me understand.

Uphill passing lanes and why Minnesotans won't move over?

I do a lot of mountain biking and driving around the state and out of state. Almost without fail, if there's a big hill with a "slower traffic keep right" sign, Minnesotans will not move over. In Wisconsin, Colorado, Arkansas, South Dakota, the first thing people do is move over even if they're going the speed limit. In Minnesota, rarely does anyone move over.

Given that states can now do this at will and that Minnesota’s maps are drawn by the legislature, should an effort be made to crack a few red districts?

For the record, I’m sorry so see that this is happening. But here we are.

I know this sub trends left and I'm guessing this will be voted down, but independents often cast the deciding vote in many elections because neither the left or right command enough of a percentage of voters to elect their candidates alone.

For me, the right has been so whacked out for so long, that I haven't voted for a Republican in years. But I do miss the balance they used to provide back in the Pawlenty days. It seems that's lost for a long time now with MAGA in control.

Does anyone miss having a sane counterbalance?
