I’ve been getting into daily hikes and light trail running with my dog lately. I’ve got a 22L that’s great in the winter but is just too much for the hotter parts of the year. I carry water and snacks for us both as well as sometimes a sun hoodie and some small edc stuff. I’m looking at something along the lines of the Gossamer Gear Cima 15, the Gregory Nano 16, and the Rab Nitron 12. I dig the Gregory but I’m looking for zips not cinch. Rab feels like closest for what I’m doing but I keep reading about quality issues. Gossamer Cima looks close, too, but no hip belt and expensive.

Anyone have any feedback on these or options for alternatives along these lines? Thanks!
