A nuance of reflexive in my lang is doing it for the sake of oneself, and also as one wishes; this implies many things. One of them is having something abundantly.
'Talpygu ol savlandy.' is just the past tense of a verb 'savlan' which uses this suffix on book. It means 'The student had abundant books' 'Lit. 'had (enough) book that he head as much as he wished, could wish for.' or 'was having books as he wished' since its the literal past form of a verb, it is a 'he Ved' construction, not 'he had x' construction
ipa is 'tɑɫ.pɯ'ɣu .oɫ sɑβ.ɫɑn'dɯ'
