GTi14 + RTX 4060: GPU only hitting 20-35% in games, anyone else?
Got a Beelink GTi14 (Ultra 9 185H, 64GB) with the EX Dock and an RTX 4060. Fortnite used to run at 180+ fps on this thing. Now I'm getting 25-60 with dips into the low 20s, and GPU usage sits at 20-35%, sometimes dropping to 0%. The card is basically idle while the framerate tanks.
The confusing part is that everything benchmarks completely fine:
- 3DMark Time Spy: 10,254 graphics / 9,152 CPU
- GPU-Z shows full PCIe x8 4.0 under load
- GPU at 44°C, storage idle, 64GB RAM, network's fine
Stuff I've already tried:
- BIOS Internal Graphics = Enabled (the known GTi14 dock throttling fix, this genuinely helped, took me from sub-20fps to where I am now)
- Monitor plugged straight into the 4060 in the dock instead of the mini PC (also helped)
- Full clean reinstall of the game + fresh config
- Performance Mode instead of DX12, literally zero difference which is the part I can't explain.
- Disabling E-cores and the SOC north LP E-cores in BIOS. Made it worse so I reverted.
So every subsystem tests healthy on its own but the GPU just won't get saturated in an actual match. Anyone running a GTi14 + EX Dock seeing the same? Trying to work out if this is a dock/firmware quirk or something dumb on my end. I already sent an email to Beelink support but I don't think they can reply until next weekday.
