Heatwave as a trigger for recurrent pericarditis?

Anyone else get a flareup in heatwaves? Awful one moving through the UK right now and we don't have air conditioning and every time I'm feeling fine, boom, heatwave makes my heart work way harder and then I'm in pain for days!

111 is the bane of my existence with this condition sometimes

Calling 111 about heartburn from antibiotics? They are absolutely CONVINCED everything has to do with my heart despite the fact I am 1. not in an active flare at all and 2. not experiencing any heart related symptoms. but just because I have a (myo)pericarditis diagnosis and heartburn (which I specified is not how my myopericarditis feels/it is not correlated), it's immediately a "we can't help you, get an ECG straight away!"

Yeah sure like I want to go the hospital for the 6th time this year where I can spend 12 hours waiting just to get an ECG and get sent home when all I need right now is focus on a different condition. Like all I need is a change of antibiotics or at least some other medication to protect my esophagus from ulcers... Exhausting. They just don't listen. I know my body.

This kind of thing has happened countless times now with the "go to the hospital immediately" over such menial things that could be solved with a doctors visit just because I have (myo)pericarditis as well. Not to mention when I did have active flares and if I called them I was just hitting a wall with them constantly telling me to go to the hospital only to get ibuprofen every time I went. Like come on.
