At Harlem Week, I saw someone with a t-shirt that said “Make Harlem Black Again”. As a white person, I am NOT offended by this, even a little. I’ve heard similar sentiment even before I saw the shirt. I’m not going to leave Harlem, but I know this isn’t personal. I do feel glad that our Hispanic neighbors have a safe and growing community here, considering what they’re going through right now in our country. What are your thoughts on that t-shirt?
