Question before purchasing

Hi guys! I'm debating getting Witchfire on the current Steam sale, but I watched some gameplay videos and saw one thing I literally hate in FPS games: lots of damage numbers popping up when hitting enemies. Is there an option to turn that off?

I recently stumbled on a song "Money money" by Luxury Girl:

I can't resist the impression that this was on the Initial D soundtrack, but I can't seem to find it in my soundtrack collection. Or was it remade into a similar song on the OST, similarly to Night on Fire?
