How about Taron Egerton as Phantom and Tom Francis as Raoul in the movie (musical ) remake

Presuming that Rachel Ziegler is probably Christine.

According to Variety, Tom Francis is one of the actors whose just auditioned to be the next Bond. if he’s already getting into those rooms already then there’s no doubt he’s going to be getting in some serious screen work soon. He’s already worked with some big names on the screen.

And I just watched Apex that Taron costars In with Charlize Theron and was really impressed. He plays /unhinged villain very well. You can combine that with his charisma and leading man elements in other roles he definitely could portray all the facets of Erik. He is an impressive actor and unafraid to transform himself for a role Kingdman to Eddie the eagle plus we all know he can sing.,

Also despite how young he looks he is 36 even if a movie gets started at the earliest next year he’ll probably be closer to 38/late 30s when it releases which is clearly the age range Andrew Lloyd Webber wants considering he said publicly his choice was Jonathan Bailey who is also the same age range.

I also think that Taaron and Tom would play well of each other as rivals

what do you think?

Tom Francis has auditioned to be Bond

according to Variety. And he must’ve done well or at least passed the first round if they’ve had that exclusive.

I’m not surprised I’ve been predicting, especially when he transferred with Sunset to Broadway that he would probably transition more into film and TV work. He’s got the looks, charisma and he’s already done work with with some big names.

Whether he gets Bond or something else I think this is just the beginning for him. The next time he comes back to the stage proper I think will be as a star casting.

Nine Lives by Peter Swanson

I just finished it. Very much drawing influence from Agatha Christie’s And then There Were None. She annd her books even referenced multiple times as a source of inspiration for the detective investigating the. I thought the conceit of the list was really well done. And the reveal of the mystery and what connected the nine on the list was strong too. I think it would be a really good candidate for a Netflix miniseries

Anyone else about this? What did you think of it?

so recently picked this up from my local library after reading the blurb and having just finished itI thoroughly enjoyed it. It directly references Agatha Christie within it, I figured it’s worth posting it here. Has anyone else read this? It’s essentially a modern day version of And There Were None. But the fact that the author is self-aware enough the characters reference Agatha Christie I think is a nice touch. I was thinking it would be a pretty good choice to be a Netflix miniseries.

anyone else who’s read it what did you think?

Hey so this dance call for the Warriors musical came up on instagram. Seems like they’re looking for a whole lot more than just dancers and singers. Make sense given the different gangs they face but this is wild. I am so fascinated as to how they’re going to incorporate this potentially on a stage

What do you guys think and is anyone auditioning for this?

So they’ve announced about a month ago the uk tour of High Society. It’s starting at the Barbican for a month and it’s a STRONG cast. Helen George, Freddie Fox, Julian Ovenden, I’m wondering why there has been so little marketing outside of social media and such little buzz around it. it is opening at the end of May so maybe they’ll ramp up marketing closer to the date. but there’s been no conversation even among just theatre internet/general fans about it. Is it cause it’s a tour, it’s not technically west end despite the barbican being a HUGE space.

is that me? Why do you think it is?
