Need help with choosing correct equipment to boost speeds
Hello, I’m trying to figure out what is the best option I have available to make my current devices run smoothly. I don’t know much about internet and how it works yet so please help me understand more. I am with spectrum and they introduced the wifi 7 router so I upgraded to it and the speed is good , but upstairs there is a significant difference and I was looking to see if there is an extender or some way to improve speeds upstairs without being moving current router/modem. Our PCs max out at 5ghz so idk if it’s best to get a wifi 5 or 6 extender or what options I currently have or if it’s best to just get a wifi 7 pc adapter. We have about 17 devices connected and about 3 desktops connected and want to be able to play all at the same time. If possibly I would like the budget options as well as the best options possible.
