Thumbsticks are too far for my fingers

Thumbsticks are too far for my fingers

Hey everyone! So I’m having an issue- the thumbsticks are too far for me to comfortably use with the plate. Without it, it helps. What can I do in this case or what have people come up with? I do have a 3D printer and I was thinking of making a specific grip for it. It helps lowering my hands towards the bottom, but the grips don’t feel stable. But I’d like to use it normally without adjusting myself. I’ll be making a couple of designs to work around this. Pictures for reference! Thank you

Driving Florida plates in Maryland

I’ve been living here since March of 2025 and had to leave my car in Florida behind as it is under my mother’s name and insurance. However, the car was gifted to me and I was the primary driver. I have intentions to pay it off (around $6k left), but fortunately they were also helping me.

I just heard about Maryland imposing laws cracking down out of state cars and now I’m concerned. I’m supposed to be traveling to Florida in October to retrieve the car if I can, and drive it back. Initially I thought this workaround would work as we plan to move back to Florida hopefully sometime in 2027. Basically to change the garaging area of the car but keep it insured / registered the same. My mom would have to explain to her insurance / bank that it would be temporary, based off what I’ve gathered online.

However, now with the new law, I’m concerned if this is even worth it. I’m currently driving a spare car that my GF’s mother has but I cannot use it soon as it’s planned to be sold off to a friend. I have looked into buying a car here but I felt like it wasn’t worth it since we will be here for less than a year, and I’m just now improving my credit score so financing it would suck too.
Registration and insuring it here is expensive as hell, not to mention transferring the title and such would be a pain in the ass.

Although I know I can still drive it here at least for 60 days while I figure out what to do.
What would be recommended and what steps can I take? Thank you!

81wh battery stopped charging after 5 months

Hey everyone- I modded my Legion Go back in Feb with a 81wh battery. It worked wonders until a few days ago. My legion would shut off even after on 100-80% to 0%. The first time it happened, I let it charge and it was ok after that. But 2 days ago, it did the same thing again and stopped charging entirely. I did some workarounds posted online but to no avail. I decided to get a new battery from Amazon from SUNNEAR, instead of the seller I originally bought it from. I’m currently replacing it now.

I do notice some circle indents, I hope this isn’t the cause of that? I’m aware these batteries do degrade over time but 5 months is a little ridiculous. Has anyone gone through this at all?? Would this be a defective battery? Thank you!

Applied dbrand skin & grips on my Legion Go 2 controllers!

After holding it off for a month I finally pushed through to apply a dbrand skin (Dark Circuit) and grips from Amazon (Luck&Link) onto my Legion Go :) I applied the skin flawlessly on the right controller but the left was more difficult to do (corners and all) and used a hair dryer to fix it. I did end up with some imperfections but it looks great and feels great! Grips are amazing. I only used the parts for the controller itself, not on buttons - and applied part of the grips that’ll still allow me to use FPS mode. Still in love with my Legion 😻😻 rocking it at work right now.

What skins have you guys applied? And was it difficult? I was considering the Acid skin but I didn’t like that it doesn’t really have some grippiness or texture you know?

Does a Legion Go fit in an Alpaka Bravo Sling Max V2?

Hey guys! I’m currently getting this sling very soon - but I was wondering if the Legion Go with controllers connected, will fit, if anyone can answer that? It will have a 3D printed travel case on it unfortunately so that’d make it bulkier I assume. I know someone who fit their Legion Go in the Bravo Mini with controllers detached.

Thank you!

Backpack with thick/3”~ depth laptop compartment?

Looking for a backpack with a compartment similar in size to the Eberlestock Switchblade as shown.

I’m still unfortunately stuck on the bag I want and the Switchblade would be perfect for me but I realized I prioritize self standing & a large compartment like that as well. Xpac / waterproof is ideal!

Thank you so much :D
