I was let go from my first ultrasound job in peds. I struggled with vascular exams and speed, even though I felt like I had really improved in other areas, especially abdominal. I guess it just wasn't enough. I’m disappointed and discouraged, and honestly I don’t know what to do next as far as work. I’m trying to remain positive, but I can’t help wondering if this will affect my chances of getting hired elsewhere this field is so tough. I guess I'm wondering if this is the end of the road for me.
