Nakamal at Home - Kelai
Has anyone else gotten very sick from Nakamal at Home Kelai (specifically Batch EP20250212A)?
The batch I purchased made me super sick, worse than any other kava experience for me, and I've been drinking kava for over 10 years. It was very disappointing since they're supposed to be one of the top American kava vendors. The other cultivars I ordered were good, especially the Puariki and Melo Melo. But I was really disappointed with their Kelai and they were unwilling to offer any sort of remedy when I e-mailed them about my experience - the staffer came across as dismissive and unsympathetic in her responses. I ordered once and haven't ordered from them again. It's a shame, because I enjoyed their other cultivars, but I'd rather spend my money with a vendor that cares a little more about their customers, not just their dollars.
