Shopping military equipment for the “Sgt. Pepper” cover shoot

Mannerisms on point, and Daniel Hoffman Gill looks wonderful as Mal Evans! I’m glad moments like these are captured in the movies, rather than just stacking Wikipedia subheadings on top of each other as many biopics tend to do.

We finally seem to be getting the Rubber Soul Super Deluxe this year!

Before anyone comes at me for the silly AI, it is not my video and I do not condone the usage of it. Nevertheless, this channel posts nice outtakes and I recommend checking it out.

The person behind this channel has noticed an interesting pattern in the outtakes being automatically blocked right now. They were all recorded during the Rubber Soul sessions. This almost certainly means that these outtakes have now been registered ahead of official release, and therefore systematically detected. I think we can safely expect something good for Christmas this year.

First video of all four together

(Ignore the McLennon make-out sesh in the end)

What really strikes me the most is how Barry has become Ringo. He’s got his stiff, goofy mannerisms down to a tee. I forget that it’s an actor I’m watching, and not Ringo himself. Incredibly impressive.

Joseph’s subtle mannerisms, like a little brother joining in the fun without feeling the need to be overly animated and attract too much attention, also sells him as George here. He’s clearly the weakest link in terms of looks, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that it’s the way they act and speak that will make the roles.

What do we think?
