Taste and smell when taking DMSO??
Hi,
Recently, everything I smell and taste has this awful sulfur/garlic scent and taste... Anything chemicals is particularly bad; perfume; cleaning supplies; toothpaste; mouth wash; and worse yet, literally all food and drink is pungent and bordering on unpleasant. I asked a friend, and, apparently, I don't smell sulfury or garlicy. I'm using homemade DMSO salves regularly as I have been suffering knee pain (mainly DMSO mixed with things like castor oil, distilled water, aloe vera, or oils like arnica, frankincense etc for pain relief and inflammation).
Initially I thought it was due to changing to a natural toothpaste and I might have been allergic to one of the ingredients but then I stopped the toothpaste and the smell and taste continued.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there anyway around it while continuing to use DMSO? How long does it take for it to wear off,, if I stop using DMSO?
Any advice would be much appreciated :),
