My solution to waves on an untensioned screen.

Check this out. Our first projector and screen. As a brief backstory, I ordered a cheap manual roll down off Amazon, it turned up bent to hell, they refunded without wanting a return so I binned the housing, printed some brackets and straightened the roller as much as is possible without a workshop. Naturally, there's waves and ripples that are worse than they might be if the screen was perfect to begin with, so any video, game etc that pans looks like you're diving underwater.

Anyway I'm pretty proud of my admittedly janky solution after reading so many "yOu'Ll NeVeR sTrAiGhTeN a ChEaP sCrEeN" type posts as this screen is now almost perfect, so I thought I'd share it. In short -

4x 3d printed hook clamp things
4x 3d printed ends for the below rods
2x steel rods
1x hole punch

The rest, well see for yourself. Excuse the mess! 👍 I plan on improving on this, so I may update the post soonish.

Creality slicer strange tool path?

Hi, not sure how to explain this any better at the moment but has anyone else noticed Creality Slicer 7.1.1 slicing the first layer for support in a really obscure pattern? Rather than (for example) starting at the right and filling in all the way to the left, it seems to jump back and forth and fill in stripes? Orca/Creality 6.whatever do not do this?

It seems to me to be making things take longer because there's 2934785 movements that just don't need to be there, and it also sometimes makes a messy first layer.

Edit - It also appears to print each line separately rather than back and forth

Edit Edit - To reproduce, add an overhang testing primitive in Creality 7.1.1 and the same in Orca or an older Creality version (etc), turn on support and then scroll through the first layer.
