Hate Crime
Forgive me if this comes across as insensitive—but the discourse about the recent tragedy at Nordheim is largely that the student was murdered in a hate crime, that they were killed because of anti-trans rhetoric or for being trans, etc.
Obviously, now is a pretty awful time to be a trans person, and that’s saying something because it was never easy. However, is this claim based on anything other than that fact? Am I missing something about the alleged murderer’s background, or is this just speculation?
