End of June Update

Peppers are really taking off! Superhots have been lagging a bit, but overall I’m pretty happy with their progress. A couple weeks away from the first big harvest, but I’ve got tons of banana peppers and jalapeños that I’ve used to pickle and make hot sauce. I’ve also got a tomato plant that looks like it’s suffering from blight so I’ve started to use some copper fungacide to treat it. Haven’t ever grown this much so I’m full on experimenting this year. Feel free to ask questions or tips!

Passed FE Mechanical 1st Try!

Just passed first try after being out of school and industry for seven years! Started studying for it in January and really sank a lot of time into it the weeks leading up to the test.

Study materials used:

  1. FE Review Course (Coursera)
  2. FE Interactive videos + platform for the month leading up to the exam for practice tests.
  3. FE mech practice volume 1
  4. An old printed FE mechanical exam

Would love to answer questions about it!

End of May Update

Hey all! Wanted to post an update. I transplanted outside two months ago, and wanted to share the progress! This is my first season, and I have already had numerous lessons and take aways. Some plants are doing excellent and some are pretty stunted. Overall, it’s been a super fun learning experience so far and I’m looking forward to a spicy summer!
