I'm currently a stay-at-home parent and looking at starting a CPE residency at a hospital in about a year. I have a Master of Theological Studies degree, a B.A. in pastoral studies, and about 2 years of church work under my belt (plus volunteer/internship church work).

Any advice for things to do in my spare time before the residency? I'm thinking, of course, about reading and prayer, but any other suggestions?
