Apparently, the media was asked to be at an event at 1 PM and quite a few people showed up on time, only to be kept waiting for a considerable amount of time.

Things happen, events get delayed, no one expects everything to run perfectly. But apparently, the bigger issue was how the delay was handled.

When some media folks started getting restless and were ready to leave, the response from the Ramayana movie’s PR team was reportedly along the lines of, “Jisko jaana hai, jaane do.”

Which is a pretty surprising way to speak to media who have taken the time to show up for your event.

Ironically, once people actually started getting ready to leave, the team apparently started going around asking them to stay.

Apparently even Namit Malhotra and Ranbir Kapoor had to step in and check what was happening.

I feel delays are understandable. But if you’re expecting media to wait around for HOURS, communication and basic respect go a long way. Especially for a project as big as Ramayana.

Also, this is not first time this team has treated media badly.

While Karan Johar is trolling his nepo babies right, left and center… Varun Dhawan his prodigy has decided to clash with him at time when Kjo’s Dharma Productions badly needs a hit.

And yes Karan has taken it well and sulking over Varun’s move to take heads on clash!
