Kill It Kid Blind Willie Mctell. Enjoy if you’ve never heard it before or even if you know it well.
Lightning Hopkins singing them blues. He was sentenced to prison for some time but I can’t find out why I googled and it says the exact reason is unknown though he does have songs talking about how bad he was when he was young.
A fantastic cover of a song about ww1. He plays it so nicely. Blind Willie Mctell-Pal of mine.
Powerful song, Leadbelly groves this tune. My favorite version of this song. Strong vocals and fast guitar work.
I love Skippy James he’s got an amazing voice to match his beautiful guitar playing.
Good till the last drop, says it right on the can. John Hurt’s music always calms me down, such a peaceful musician.
I’ve read that Blind Willie Mctell could navigate Atlanta without any help. He was pretty amazing.
A nice tune from an old school blues man. The king of the 12 string. Blind Willie Mctell can play a mean 12 string as well so to me they can both be kings in their own right. Leadbelly was older, literally born in the 1800’s. To me this is peak blues. Them down south men in the early 1900’s were peaking out this world, lord only knows the suffering they’ve been through.
Enjoy my blues brothers.
Here’s some more Jamaican ska. Justin Hinds and the Dominos.
Here’s a young toots jamming with his bros. The Maytals treat me bad.
I guess just picked up a new hobby month ago when my wife dragged me into a crystal/rock shop. I go there every weekend now to pick up something new hope you enjoy the pic.
