GSO allergy or sterility issue?
Edit: injection site is top dot on photo 1, redness only spread downward rather than radiating out to all sides
Posted about this yesterday but here’s an update: pinned on Thursday, pic 1 yesterday, pic 2 this morning. Looks like it has become a full blown infection that is rapidly spreading towards my bicep, also have had a fever/flu symptoms past 12 hours. Luckily had some old keflex on hand which broke the fever and seemed to slow the spread overnight. Will be going to an urgent care shortly.
Question is, do we think this is a GSO allergy or sterility issue? I’ve done a total of 4 pins so far out of this vial. Have used same equipment & procedure as I have been for the past 2.5 years.
First pin: no issue, slight pip.
2nd & 3rd pin: more pip, also had redness spreading like in photo 1 but seemed to subside after 2 days
4th pin: where I’m at currently
