From a leftist perspective, Trump puts loyalty to himself over the country or the constitution. Yet I see so many supporters claiming he cares for them or the country. What are some specific examples of Trump actually putting the country before himself? Has he ever sacrificed anything for the country that he hasn't made back x-fold as president (fame, money, etc.)?

For years I've heard about Democrats spending too much on social programs or somehow being the party of bloated government. Yet every time a Republican is in office the budget deficit skyrockets and wars are started. Republicans outspend Democrats at every opportunity and only give meaningful tax cuts to the super rich.

The ICE budget is beyond insane. The cost of war in Iran is absolutely insane. Trump's BBB is insanely expensive. Why is any of this okay with anyone who considers themselves fiscally conservative and pro small government?
