Hello everyone! Recently came across this subreddit and it’s been very helpful. I’ve just been rejected for an EA role I really wanted. It was entry level, close to home and in the not for profit sector which I prefer. I’ve been trying to transition into ea roles for the last 2 years and keep getting rejected. I have brief EA experience (around 9months, 2025 , part-time) , 9+ years of professional experience (remote, hybrid) - this rejection round said they ‘loved my personality but I’d need a lot to get the ground running’ and I feel completely deflated. I’ve resorted to retail roles in this time, also but I don’t know how much longer I can cope due to existing disabilities. I’m also working on a project management qualification. I just wish I could get a chance , any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you ☺️
