As the title states, I’ve been on 6.12.8 for a long time, mostly because it was a “oh I’ll wait until the next update” and that next update never came.

Finally pulled the trigger when I wanted to take a snapshot of a vm and found that 7 had that feature.

I set aside time and hunkered down and got ready for the upgrade. Clicked update. Rebooted….and it just worked?

I looked all over the system to make sure everything was working right and there were no issues.

I know people experience problems during even minor upgrades but I have to give the team credit for this being a smooth update process.
