Our fans were absolutely brilliant
Our end was brilliant from minute one. Even when we went a goal behind, we continued to out-sing them, even though their fans serenaded us with ‘you’re going down with the city’ which was rather amusing in all honesty. I’m interested to know how it sounded on the telly to those who were watching at home and in the pub, and in other venues as well of course.
From where we were stood, it took about 2 or 3 seconds for it to register that the ball had found the bottom corner and our fans absolutely erupted 🤣. It was quality. In all fairness we probably should have left with all three points when you take into account the chances we missed. But the goals will start to flow soon, I’m optimistic of that coming to fruition. Onwards and upwards though and hopefully we can finally make our persistent first half dominance pay off against Coventry.
