Hairline fracture?

Hi all! I’m 22f, and one week ago I fell on my shin while doing a box jump at the gym. The site immediately bled and turned blue, with my leg going swollen and hard immediately. A few days later, I was still limping and noticed my ankle had turned blue. I went to a GP yesterday who didn’t even look at it but sent for an X-RAY. It constantly throbs and I am still taking painkillers 8 days later. Bruising is getting worse not better.

Can anyone see a fracture in this scan? I won’t get the report for days. Pain is in lower half, let me know if you see anything! Appreciate it

Any advice for Aussies looking to move to Chicago?

Hi all! My partner and I are looking to make the move from Sydney to Chicago to work (but open to other US cities) and are after some advice. Any thoughts at all are much appreciated.

  1. Visa – how willing are employers to sponsor via E3 Australian visa? Employer only needs to lodge LCA and issue an offer letter, to my understanding it is free of charge to them and very low effort.

  2. Job #1 – Looking for a job within the startup space or an entry level job in a larger organisation. Anything in process excellence, strategy/innovation. 2-3 years prior experience across major Aus banks and telco. What’s the best way to go about the job hunt/what salary could I expect/any other thoughts here?

  3. Job #2 – Looking for a mid-level job within any type of organisation in Talent Acquisition/HR/change management/culture. 4 years prior industry experience across top Aus media company and government. What’s the best way to go about the job hunt/what salary could I expect/any other thoughts here?

  4. Renting – Have read online that it could be a challenge to get an apartment without an American credit history. Both have strong credit scores and rental references in Aus – so is this still the case?

Any thoughts at all are much appreciated - be brutal!
