There are very few Japanese makes/models, in particular recently released models, available here in the USA which are actually made in Japan. Fortunately, there are few Mazda models that are manufactured in Japan. I wonder if quality-wise manufactured in Japan vehicles are really better than manufactured in USA vehicles? I understand that there are rigorous processes in place when it comes to automobile manufacturing. My guess is, the American-made models have the possibility of falling back in quality if manufacturer sources parts from local vendors. Will appreciate if you share your opinion, experience and knowledge on this. Thanks!
