The freshly acquired house is about 20 years old. I've found 1 Cat 5 wall plug. The bundle of white cables have cat5e printed on them. I don't know where they are going. The blue...likely phone. The coax is not being used anymore. My desire is to potentially use some of this for wired access points. Thoughts on where/how I should begin? Thanks.

If you were to build a new house, would you...trust...the alarm (door/window sensors, motion sensors) and fire (smoke?/ temperature sensing) to Unifi? This would be compare to "stock" wired versions of this the builder suggest. If so, how would you configure it? Let us assume I'll have the Unifi backbone to support, and yes, cameras will be part of it, also.
